Best Movies Of The 80's

Published: December 7, 2013

I was a teenager when I was growing up in the 80's and movies from the 80's rock. Now this is a list of what I think were the best movies of the 80's. Mine are based on plots, laughter and if I would watch them again.

  1. The Breakfast Club (1985)

If you grew up in the 80's then I know you watched The Breakfast Club. Really who in the 80's didnt love a John Hughes film. The Breakfast Club is a great story of the types or cliques you come across when in high school, you got the prom queen, the rebel, the nerd, the jock and the weirdo. We all can relate to these characters. To this day The Breakfast Club remains a popular choice amoung teenagers.

  2. Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986)

Again another great teen movie that was made in the 80's. The plot of the movie is planning the perfect day of hookie from school. It was well loved in the 80's and remains well loved today.

  3. Ghostbusters (1984)

This was a great comedy made in 1984 about a group of guys who start a company that gets rid of ghosts. It's super funny and has a great cast such as, Bill Murray and Dan Aykryod to name a few. It is also well know for the title soundtrack Ghostbusters, which hit the music charts and become a great one hit wonder.

These are only three of some of the best movies of the 80's....I will return with more great movies from the 80's at a later date.
