The Best Wii U Games

Are you interested in purchasing a Wii U? Need to know all the must have games? Read through this list as we go through all of the best games on the Wii U, every game is considered a Day 1 purchase. We go through all games from Nintendo first party to the triple A titles. 

  1. The Wonderful 101

    The Wonderful 101 is Platinum Games' first major title released on the Wii U.  This game is no joke, the cartoonish Power Rangers style will fool you, this game is challenging and complex with a more gameplay packed into it than most Triple A titles.  Its a must have for any Wii U owner.  No game makes better use of the Wii U screen than this game, using your stylus to control large groups of heroes and turning them into various objects like a Gun, Sword, or even a giant catapult.  This is one of the best games on the Wii U and one of the best games in the whole year, you've never seen a game like this before and it'll leave a lasting impression on anyone. 

  2. Pikmin 3

    The cute and serene world of Pikmin returns in Pikmin 3 this time with three protagonists.  The same Pikmin formula is back and makes full use of the Wii U screen letting you control the Pikmin with it.   The world is mystifying and tranquil without any bit of dialogue or big budget cutscene to force it ony ou, you'll immediately become imursed in the tiny world of Pikmin.

  3. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD

    Wind Waker was one of the most memorable and easily one of the best titles on the gamecube, and now its back in HD glory.  From the breathtaking visuals to the complex dungeons this game still holds its weight today as one of the best Action Adventure games around and one of Nintendo's best titles.  If you love Zelda this is the definitive Zelda game.

  4. Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate

    One of the most addictive titles Capcom has put out, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is a game all about loot and weapons.  If you are looking to kill some giant dinosaurs with your friends and then brag about who can make a bigger sword then this is the game for you.

  5. Injustice: Gods Among Us

    Netherrealms Studios presents the flagship fighting game of 2013, Injustice has something for the casual and hardcore fans alike.  We get to see the likes of Batman go head to head with Green Arrow in a complex and polished fighting game with plenty of extra goodies for all the DC fans.  Man of Steel and CW's Arrow costumes anyone? 

  6. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

    One of the biggest Triple A releases on the Wii U, Assassin's Creed IV is a landmark game in the Assassin's Creed franchise and looks amazing on the Wii U.  The Carribean sea is absolutely incredible and completely free to roam and sail however you'd like without any loadtimes whatsoever.  The pirate story is rich and fun as it should be and flows perfectly with the pacing of the game.

  7. Tekken Tag Tournament 2

    Its no surprise Tekken is a household name when it comes to video games, and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is the latest and greatest in the series.  Man don't you wish every character in Tekken could come back? Consider it done.  Everyone is back, literally every obscure character shows up to brawl, remember Tekken Ball? thats back too only on Wii U.  Want some DLC Characters? Have them for free.  That's right F-R-E-E, not one or two characters but SIX CHARACTERS.  You can't compete with this version of Tekken.

  8. New Super Mario Bros U

    A Nintendo list would not be complted without Mario.  New Super Mario Bros. For Wii U is the classic Mario formula revamped to be played with five friends.  Its the ultimate party game and guarantees good times and lots of betrayals.  You'd think you were playing Mario Party

  9. Nintendo Land

    Ever wish there was a Disneyland but with a Nintendo theme? Nintendo Land simulates just that.  The game is one big amusement park, literally with dozens of Nintendo themed attractions for you and your friends to play. If you're looking for a game to pop out at a party that even your Grandparents can play then Nintendo Land is a wonderful choice and stands ontop of the other party games around.  

  10. Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I Don't Know!

    One of the most popular cartoons on television unsurprisingly makes an excellent game.  Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I Don't Know is an excellent dungeon crawler game that surpingsly can keep up with and even surpass some of the staple dungeon crawlers like Diablo 3, especially Diablo 3.  And blended in with the perfect Co-Op gameplay is the witty humor and characters the show is known for.
