Top five first person shooters on Xbox 360
Considering the Xbox 360 has been available since 2005, there is no lack of first person shooters on the console. It has easily become one of the most popular genres in video games today. Here are the top five best first person shooters on Xbox 360:
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Call of Duty 4 really put the series on the map as a heavy-hitter and it has remained one of the best selling franchises every year since. Many CoD fans still think of it as the best. It wasn't littered with killstreaks and actually took some skill to be good at (when you weren't using the M16 or noob tube, that is).
The Orange Box
The Orange Box deserves a high spot because it is actaully several games for the price of one. You get Half Life 2, Half Life 2 Episode 1, Half Life 2 Episode 2, Portal, and Team Fortress 2. Pretty much any single one of those games would have been worth the price of admission. Thanks Valve!
A lot of hardcore Halo fans and pro gamers didn't like Reach at all but it was tons of fun for the average, everyday gamer. It is also the only Halo game to have Invasion mode, which has a cult following of dedicated fans who still fill the playlist to this day.
Considered to be one of the best games of of 2013 by many, BioShock Infinite had an awesome storyline, addictive gameplay, and dynamic characters. There may not have been any multiplayer, but you really didn't need it. It is one of the few single player games you'll WANT to play through more than once.
Left 4 Dead 2
Zombie games are very popular these days and Left 4 Dead 2 is the pinnacle of co-operative zombie survival. The A.I. director ensures that no two playthroughs are alike and there are also several good competitive modes online to keep things fresh.
There are lots of other shooting games that could have made the list. Keep in mind that taste in video games always boils down to personal opinion. That being said, the five games found on this list are easily ranked among the best for the console.
