Best Electronic Artists For New Listeners

Electronic music has been around for quite some time, but the general public hadn't shown much interest until around 5 years ago. Now, it's one of the fastest growing genres around, and is pulling in more revenue than any other style of music. This list is designed to guide new listeners on their journey into this particular genre of music.

  1. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs

    This one-man act is a great way to start off. With music that has a distinct deep-house vibe, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (TEED) has created a niche for himself that many people enjoy.     As a taco-loving, cat-owning man, Dillon Francis has gained the internet's attention in a relatively short amount of time.     This three-man team has provided the world with some of the best sounding music of the past two years. Their strange, entrancing music has tantilized audiences around the world for as long as they have been doing it.     Zedd made himself known through a myriad of remixes, and a lot of great singles. As a classically trained pianist, he knows how to compose music that is extremely enjoyable.     Lain Trzaska, also known as "She", is one of the most prominent chip artists in the industry. His music is known for having an iconic house feel to it, while still maintaining a chiptune aesthetic. His music has been a godsend to those who enjoy the 8-bit style, but still like to listen to music that is danceable.     Rusko is one of the pioneers of dubstep, yet he also knows how to make other electronic genres sound amazing. His style ranges from classic drum and bass, to dubstep and house.     Rustie's music is pretty hard to describe. It's unique, to say the least, but it doesn't stray too far from other forms of electronic music.     The Glitch Mob has made their presence known with their sophisticated glitch sound. All of their songs feel like they've been torn to pieces, yet rearranged in a way where it all works out for the better. Their glitchiness gives fans a unique listening experience, while their beautiful melodies and excellent percussion compliment it all. Their song, "Animus Vox", is a good example of their skill.     Last, but definitely not least, is Seven Lions. His beautiful take on dubstep sets him apart from most other artists.
