The best Next-Gen Console Launch titles.

Every seven years we, as console gamers, are privvy to a monumentous occaision, the launch of the Next-Gen of consoles. This year lucky enough to witness the release Sony's new Playsation 4 and Microsoft's new Xbox one gaming console. We will be taking a look at the best launch titles that these systems have to Offer. They will be rated on Gameplay, graphics, and innovation. Let' check them out.

 

  1. Titanfall (Xbox One)

    The first person shooter genre taken to a whole new level. Titanfall, an xbox one exclusives, shows us how to innovate on videogame consoles most popular Genre. Players get to navigate maps and go head to head not only as soldiers, but as Giant Bi-pedal robots. These robots can be used to deliver massive damage to opposing teams. Fear not, there are weapons that serve as equalizers in the event that you do not have access to giant robots. This game looks to add layers of mechanics to a genre that needed fresh new ideas.

  2. Watchdogs (PS4,Xbox One)

    Set in the City of Chicago in the near future, the city has been linked via a computer system that controls all vital functions of the city and not to mention has information on all it's residents. Players control a vigilante who uses this system to his advantage by hacking it. Our protaganist can control street lights, trains, hack into people's personal lives, and even cut out the entire city's power grid! Never before has such complexity and interaction been seen in an open-world sandbox game.

  3. Killzone: Shadowfall (PS4)

    The much anticpated new addition to the killzone franchise. Killzone is without a doubt the most graphically impressive launch title so far. The game takes place 30 years after the defeat of the Helgast, the antagonists of the killzone universe. Guerilla games is offering free maps in their multiplayer, something never before done on a first person shooter for consoles.

  4. NBA Live (PS4, Xbox One)

    After a 5 year Hiatus,the NBA live series has returnedUsing Electronic Art's new Ignite graphics engine, NBA live will offer some of the best animation and artificial intelligence on a basketball game to date.  New game modes include a rising star mode in which players control a custom made player and go through his 25 year career.

  5. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground zeros (PS4, Xbox One)

    The long-awaited Hideo Kojima title is a prequel and takes place sometime between Metal Gear solid 3 and Metal Gear Solid. If you're not familiar with the series, Metal Gear reads more like a blockbuster movie than a videogame and has the same amount of dialogue to boot! Players must hone their skills in stealth in order to complete mission objectives.  If any of the previous iterations of the series has taught us anything it's tht there are plenty of plot twists abound for this title!

Whether you prefer First or third person shooters, sports games, and/or adventure titles gamers will have plenty to choose from.While there are plenty more games to be released, this generations launch line-up has more than enough triple A titles to keep even the most hardcore gamers satisfied.
