The Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex has something for everyone.   1. The State Fair of Texas

    If you happen to be in Dallas around the end of September to mid-October pop on over to the State Fair of Texas. As the proclamimed, "Fried Food Capital of Texas", the fair is a mecca for all things fried and delicious! However, there is more to the fair than its top rated food. The most popular attraction is the Midway. So many rides and attractions ensuring fun for all ages.   2. The Fort Worth Stockyards

  3. Dealey Plaza

    Take a walking tour of historic Dealey Plaza in downtown Dallas, location of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Visit the Sixth Floor Museum inside the infamous Texas School Book Depository depicting the tragic events of that fateful day in American history and preserving the legacy of President Kennedy. This year marks the 50th anniversary.

  4. Six Flags Over Texas

    The premire destination for fun in the heart of the Metroplex is Six Flags Over Texas. It is conveniently located in Arlington and less than a half hour from both Dallas and Fort Worth. Highlighting some of the best thrill rides in the country, try testing your mettle while pulling 5.9 Gs on the steel coaster Shockwave, dangling 400 ft. in the air on the Texas Sky Screamer, or flying up to 80 mph on Dive Bomber Alley.

  5. Southfork Ranch

    If you are a big fan of the hit TV show "Dallas" then this is the destination for you! Located just north of the Big D is Southfork Ranch. Open to the public daily (with the exception of Christmas and Thanksgiving day) for guided tours. Visit the home of the Ewing family and see the gun that shot J.R. displayed as well as other famous show memorobilia.
