The best things you shouldn't miss at EPCOT
There are so many exciting attractions, shows, and activities that it's easy to miss out on some great things while trying to cram in everything. This list is to help you prioritize your day by exploring some things you may have missed otherwise.
I'm a little ashamed to admit that I visited the park a few times before I actually knew that there is a ride inside the big Epcot ball. I'm willing to bet I'm not the only one that doesn't know about it. The ride is mostly educational (as most at this park are) but the payoff at the end is amazing. Recent changes have made the ride more interactive and added a bit of technological fun for the younger crowd.
Living with the Land
This is by far my favorite attraction at Epcot and I make it a point to visit it every trip. My only suggestion is to go early because they do close it down before the rest of the park and I have been disappointed a time or two because of it. It's a really cool look at the work they do behind the scenes and it's educational at the same time.
The Living Seas
Even if you don't want to ride the ride, visit the exit area to see the tanks and all the sea life they have on display. The vast size of the tanks is awe-inspiring and totally worth taking a moment out of your busy day.
Part of the Norway Pavillion, Maelstrom is a great ride that is a lot of fun. The queue line has a ton of interesting Norwegian art and historical information. At the end of the ride there is a 20 minute video in a sit-down theater, but if you hurry out of the exit you can avoid it as the real gem is the ride itself.
The outside of this place is cool enough, but inside is really where it starts to amaze. Without ruining the big awe moment when you walk inside, I can tell you that there is a Three Caballeros themes boat ride inside, a nice restaurant and a few little cart-style shops set up inside. But take me at my word when I say this is worth the visit.
There are so many great things to see at EPCOT, but these are my must-see attractions that I think many people may miss out on or not know about. Of course the big name rides are going to be on everyone's to-do list, but these all warrant a place on that list as well.
