Are you looking for entertainment for your family in the Raleigh, North Carolina area? Here is a top 10 list of activitiies to do with your family. The majority are budget frienfly too!

  1. Pullen Amusement Park, Raleigh, NC

        If you live in the Raleigh, NC area and have never been to Pullen Park, make it a must vist on your next family outing. The park covers over roughly 60 acres, yet the walking trails are lined with huge, majestic trees that provide amp shading, and there are so many activities to do with little ones, that everything seems close enough. Even cool down with one of Pullen Park's water misters or let the little ones play in the sand box that has a water pump! Did I mention that the park has a parked train caboose to explore and some of the most state-of-the-art playgrounds for all ages?

         Meals are available on site. The park does have a wonderful snack bar stocked with some of the best local treats.

         Tickets are $1 dollar to ride a short, but scenic train trip that perimeters the park, $1 to ride the historic c.1911 indoor carousel, and $1 for kiddie boat rides! Pedal boat rentals start at $6 for 4 people on each boat in half hour increments.

  2. Frankie's Fun Park, Raleigh, NC

        Frankie's Fun Park is a huge establishment that provides entertainment and attractions indoors and out. It truly has something to entertain all ages, including put-put golf (day & night), Drop Zone and Side Winder (rides), arcades, go-karts, batting cages, Spider Web, Sky Trail, outside bumper boats, laser tag and a fun house. There is a cafe on site, but there is also a "Chill Lounge" that offers an adult environment equipped with pool table and grown-up beverages.

         As far as pricing goes, you pick and choose the attractions of the park that you are interested in and pay for those. Prices can start as low as $4 for each person, but its best to check their website for more details. This place may be considered a special treat for some families, because I am sure the kids will want to try several of Frankie's attractions!

  3. Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park, Raleigh, NC

         Sky Zone is not just for older kids! Groups and activities are held all throughout the week for all ages. It is a massive indoor trampoline park that even holds dodge ball events, birthday parties, college night, family night, toddler play dates, and has a really cool Foam Zone of over 10,000 foam cubes to jump into!
