What is better than reading a "Best of" list and finding out the answer to all your problems? Having problems finding out what to do on vacation is horrifying. I made a list of the Top 10 Tourist Attractions in California. This list is multiple varities from Disneyland and SeaWorld to Yosemite National Park. Take a look at these Top attractions and tell me if you still cant find the answer to your problems. I promise you will find activites suitable for the whole family. 

  1. Disneyland


    The wonderful world of Disney located in the beautiful city of Anaheim California, spreads across 160 acres of land. Disneyland features rides for guests of all ages. Paradise Pier is one of the fastest thrill rides the amusement park has to offer. If Paradise Pier is too much of a thrill for you, take a slow and musical ride on the Pirates of the Caribbean. If all the wonderful rides Disney has to offer isn’t enough, then visit the magical shows and color district that the whole family can enjoy. Don’t forget to have your little ones take a few pictures with the Disney characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse as well as Goofy, Donald Duck, and Daffy Duck located in Mickey’s Toontown. Stop by Disneyland to open up your mind to magic and see the wonderful world of Disney come to life right before your eyes.

  2. SeaWorld San Diego


                    Have you ever gone to a park that has no water spots to cool down? Well Sea World located in Sunny San Diego has so many different attractions and shows to see that you won’t know where to start first. Sea World is known for their main attraction called the Shamu show. After seeing that amazing show, walk through the rest of the park and take a look at other ocean animals of all species located throughout the park. Sea World has a wide variety of Dolphins, killer Whales, Penguins, Walruses, and last not but least the Polar Bear. Once you have seen enough of the amazing animals at Sea World take a break and take a helicopter ride and take in the experience of the Wild Artic Sea World has to offer. This amusement park is the best place to take young kids so they can interact and enjoy the animal’s right before their eyes. 

  3. Venice Beach,_Los_Angeles


                    Venice Beach is surely one of Los Angeles, most popular beaches. Venice beach doesn’t only offer a three mile beach to stroll down but during the summer they have a variety of talented artist performing for all tourist on the Ocean front walk. They have a variety of artist painting, singing, and even bodybuilding. Venice Beach is known for their Bodybuilding arena where many people try and show of their strength. Venice beach is the most amazing beach to head on down to if you want to check on some amazing and unique art work or just hear some of the most genuine people sing you some tunes. 

  4. Death Valley


                    Death Valley located in the Mojave Desert, is one of the driest deserts not just in California but in the United States. Death Valley offers a variety of outdoor activates to do there like riding quads through dry sand dunes. Death Valley is such a unique desert that there is no other desert like it in California. Visit Death Valley with family and friends and send thrills through your body riding 80 mph quads and dirt bikes. 

  5. General Sherman

    General Sherman is a giant Sequoia tree located in the beautiful Forest of Sequoia Nation Park in California. These unique and magnificent trees are the largest in the world.  These tress are five of ten largest trees located in Sequoia National Park. General Sherman’s trees stand 275 feet tall and is the largest tree of them all in Sequoia General Sherman tree is said to be between 2,300 to 2,700 years old. Taking a picture next to this remarkable tree will make you look like the smallest person on earth.

  6. Big Sur Coastline

                              The Big Sur Coastline is stretched ninety miles along the central coast of California. Driving across the Big Sur Coastline has stunning views of the historic 40-foot Point Sur lighthouse as wells as Bixby Bridge. Bixby Bridge is one of the world’s tallest single-span bridges that stretch along the coastline. Driving along the bridge you will also spot 80-foot McWay Falls Plunge directly into the ocean. There are more than three million drivers that drive across the bridge every year. While driving across the bridge they can’t help but notice the beautiful and dramatic country scenery. This stunning coastline just so happens to cover a vast area between Carmel and the foothills of the Santa Lucia Mountains. Tourists will not be dissatisfied when they drive across this stunning scenery along the central coast of California.


  7. Lake Tahoe

                    Lake Tahoe located on the border of California and Nevada was created about two million years ago during the Ice Age. Lake Tahoe is also known to be the largest lake in the world. Lake Tahoe offers year around water activities from sailing, kayaking, jet skiing, and paddle boarding in the summer to Snowmobile riding, and snow- tubing during the spring and fall. If taking a dip in the water doesn’t satisfy you, then sit back and enjoy that beautiful scenery as well as the majestic mountains that surrounds this gigantic lake.

  8. Golden Gate Bridge


                    The Golden Gate Bridge is by far one of the most visited tourist attractions in California. This spectacular bridge goes on for more than a mile hovering over the San Francisco bay. Thousands of cars drive across the Golden Gate Bridge on a daily basis. If you’re not driving across the bridge then you are more than likely taking multiple pictures of it. The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most photographed bridges. The unique color is a mixture of red and orange. That color was designed to stand out and make the bridge more visible when thick layers of fog surround the bridge. Stop by the Golden Gate Bridge and see what all the fuss is about. 

  9. Redwood National Park


                    The Redwood National Park isn’t like every other park out there with just a wide variety of tall trees. This parks consists of woodlands, rivers, and miles among miles of coastline. Tourists have the opportunity to see unique exhibits, walk with experienced guides, and many more. Redwood National Park offers many different activities from mountain biking, and horseback riding to fishing for some rainbow trout. You can’t forget to experience the most treacherous rivers with kayaking many miles per hour. While driving along the coastline you can catch and glimpse of grey whales and sea birds. Taking a more relaxing vacation in California would be better suited to visit the Redwood National Park.

  10. Yosemite National Park


                    Located in the Central Eastern part of California, Yosemite National Park covers over 760,000 acres. Yosemite has amazing views from granite like cliffs, beautiful waterfalls, and diverse plants and animals. There is more than 800 miles of trails for visitors to hike or drive along. There are many more other attractions than just waterfalls and trails. The park also includes a view of glacier point as wells as extraordinary views of the Yosemite Valley. Yosemite also features hotel stays for families wanting to see Yosemite for multiple days. Yosemite includes historic places like LeConte Memorial Lodge as well as the Ahwahnee Hotel. Swing on down to Yosemite National Park and take in the gorgeous views this amazing park has to offer. Don’t forget your camera so you can capture once in a life time photography you have ever feasted your eyes on.     

You can never go wrong when visit the happiest place on Earth. Seeing your childs face when they take a glance at mickey and minnie mouse hugging them is a look you will cherish forever. If your a mother or father of young kids and you don't know where to take them for vacation then think about the happiest place to see a kid. Your child will enjoy a full day of rides, shows, and characters right infront of their eyes. Even at night you can visit the world of color and just become speechless when you see how amazing technology has become when Disney plays different Disney movies while colors of water fly all around the sky.
