Orlando beyond the theme parks

Many people think that Orlando is simply hub to many theme parks yet they don't know that The City Beautiful and Central Florida are much more than that. Here's a list to showcase some of the area's best destinations for visitors and residents alike. 

  1. Lake Eola Park

    Located in the heart of the city, the Lake Eola Park offers a 


    Located in the heart of Downtown Orlando, Lake Eola Park offers residents and visitors a variety of options for leisure. People can exercise while walking or running around the lake, have a romantic moment on a swan-shaped paddle boat, feed the beautiful birds, attend a concert or play at the amphiteater, or simply enjoy the view.

  2. ICEBAR Orlando

    When you need a place to chill, there's probably no better place than ICEBAR Orlando. This is one of the world's biggest permanent ice bars featuring over 50 tons of carved ice kept under 22 degrees.   3. Harry P. Leu Gardens

  5. Park Avenue Shopping District

    Located a short drive or train ride away from Downtown Orlando, the Park Avenue Shopping District in Winter Park offers a huge selection of fine dining, one-of-a-kind shops, and art in a charming athmosphere that resembles an European city.

  6. Thornton Park District

    Thornton Park is another fantastic destination for shopping and dining. Located in Downtown Orlando, the Thorhton Park District offers beautiful streets full of specialty shops, restaurants and other venues.


  7. Wekiwa Springs

    This is a beautiful park located a few minutes away from Orlando that offers around 7,000 acres of beautiful nature, a camping area, and hiking trails.

  8. The Milk District

    The "Milk District" is an interesting neighborhood around Robinson Street and Bumby Avenue known for its unique shops, restaurants and venues. 

  9. Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens
