Top 5 Drugstore Makeup Products
A lot of women (and men!) I know have been searching for "good" drugstore makeup, but never finding what meets their needs. I, myself, have also been searching for those perfect items to incorporate into my collection, and while searching, here's what I've come up with: items that are good for a budget, but also have the quality of higher end makeup.
wet n wild Color Icon™ Eyeshadow Trio
I never know how to describe this product. At under $4 a pop, these eyeshadow trios perform in such a way that would make you never believe the low price. Extremely pigmented and easily blendable, you would definitely think that this is a high-end product straight off the shelf of a department store. Definitely one of my favorite products!

Cover Girl Clump Crusher by LashBlast Mascara
This has to be one of my favorite drugstore mascaras, hands down. This stuff never clumps on me, and I mean never. Besides the insane formula, the rest of the packaging is pretty standard. Rubber tooth mascara brush, comes in a plain green tube. But don't let the lack of fancy packaging fool you, this mascara is one you definitely want to try out, and for around $6-9 a tube, it's not a bad deal!
e.l.f. Essential Eyelid Primer
To keep your eyeshadow looking great all day, this is definitely an essential product to have. Although not the greatest primer out there, this product is only $1, and in my opinion, for $1 you can't go wrong. It goes on fairly smoothly, and sets quick, to keep eyeshadow from sliding around (or clumping up!) Definitely another favorite of mine!
Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm
Although the price may seem a little steep for a lip balm (ranging from about $3-$5), this product definitely does what is asked of it. It also comes in different shades, like a sheer red or pink, almost making it a sort of 'lip tint', if you'd like to call it that. The staying power isn't that great (as with most lip balms, it tends to come off with eating/drinking/etc.) but it's very moisturizing and oh so cute!
Revlon ColorStay Foundation
Coming in with two different formulations (combination/oily and normal/dry), this foundation offers great matte coverage. Although it is a little on the expensive side for a drugstore product (ranging from about $10-13), I would say it's worth it. A little goes a long way with this product! While it does come in 20 different shades, there aren't many choices for darker skin, which I would have to say is my one big gripe with the product.
So there you have it, my top 5 "best" drugstore makeup products. There are deifinitely more great products out there, but I tried to center around the basics and the most bang for your buck! Don't be afraid to experiment with different products, watch out for sales, and always read reviews! Thank you guys for reading~
