The best RPG's and MMO-RPG's of all time.

Published: March 13, 2014

This is a list of the best RPG's (role playing games) and MMO-RPG's (Massive Multiplayer Online- Role playing games) of all time. This best of list will span many generations as well as many devices and systems. This best of list is one that should be considered most accurate to date!

  1. Legend of Zelda (NES)

The Legend of Zelda for the (NES) Nintendo Entertainment system was a game well ahead of its time. It was one of the first ever action-adventure RPG style games released for the Nintendo and was a first introduction to a timeless hero Link, and his princess Zelda. It is an addictive puzzle adventure game.

  2. Final Fantasy VII (PS One)

This was the first Role Playing Game released for the Playstation one system. It had an epic plot involving the hero Cloud Strife and an unlikely gang trying to save the planet from complete and total destruction from (villian?) Sephiroth. This game had 55+ hours of straight game time as well as excellent graphics for the system it was released on.

  3. World of Warcraft (PC-MMO)

World of Warcraft, a game people say will be unbeatable in terms of player base and market value. Players in this game can choose between two factions, Horde and Alliance. Within each faction there are multiple races, and within each race multiple classes to play as. It's an ever expanding game frequently updated with new content. A must play for those who love to adventure with others.

In conclusion these are the best Role Playing Games and Massive Multiplayer Online Role-playing games to date. I have played through these games multiple times without ever getting bored. I have also played simliar games in the same genre and have not found any other games to come close to replay value as these.
