The Best Odd Soda Flavors
This list is designed to let you know what odd soda flavors are out there, for those days where you need a good gag gift or are feeling like your taste buds need to be taken on a adventure of oddness. These are all real sodas that I have either bought or drank.
Lester's Fixins Pumpkin Pie Soda
Lester's Fixin's a beverage company that is known to make some pretty odd soda flavors which include ranch dressing and corn on the cob makes one that tastes like Pumpkin Pie. I was surprised at how much it actually does taste like pumpkin pie and not a fake pumpkin flavor. It was actually pretty good, and it was much better then the ranch dressing option.
Jelly Belly Blueberry Soda
This is a very very sweet soda, very very sugary. It was really good, and did actually taste like blueberries. It's something that I would actually drink on a semi regular basis. It doesn't taste like the jelly beans as much as it tastes like actual blueberries, but in a liquid form.
Jones Ginger Bread Soda
Jones is best known for out of the ordinary tastes. This is one of the holiday ones they make that is actually worth drinking. The Ginger flavor is delicious and tastes like an all natural ginger soda. It's a stronger flavor then regular ginger ale, but its a cleaner and crisper flavor.
Hot Lips Pear Soda
Hot Lips is a pizza joint in Portland Oregon that makes there own soda flavors. The best one they offer is the Pear Soda. While Pear isn't a flavor you would usually think of when you think of soda they knocked it right out of the park with this one. It's delicious. Crisp and refreshing.
Jones Peep Soda
This is another one of Jones Soda Company's Holiday sodas. It is a special for Easter. It actually does taste like peeps, which is you are familiar with taste a lot like cotton candy. It tastes good and if you are in need of a sugar rush, you will definately be able to find that with this drink.
This is a list of the five best odd sodas that are on the market today. My personal favorite is the Pear Soda from Hot Lips. It's just odd enough that it makes you want to taste it then after you taste it you're addicted. I'm sad that I don't live in Portland anymore where it is readily available.
