Best Ideas for Quick Children Friendly Breakfasts

Published: February 27, 2014

I know anyone who has kids or works with kids is familiar with how busy and hectic life can be, especially in the mornings. We also all know that breakfast can set the tone and mood for the whole day. This list is made of kid friendly, tasted and approved breakfast foods. They are easy to make even on a time crunch.

  1. Banana Slices with Peanut Butter

All little kids love bananas and we all know that they are a great source of potassium. In a quick few minutes you can slice up a banana, spoon a little dab of peanut butter on each slice and you've got a great protein and potassium rich breakfast that will get your little ones day off to a great start.

  2. Oatmeal with Strawberries and Blueberries

Oatmeal is a popular breakfast food for people of any age, but especially popular with the younger set. Oatmeal is a good food that keeps little tummies full for a long time. Plain oatmeal can be jazzed up with some fresh cut strawberries and fresh blueberries. The fruit not only adds taste to the oatmeal but it adds nutrition and antioxidents.

  3. Cheese Toast

This one was popular at one of the daycare centers that I worked at. Using wheat toast and real cheese is the best way to make this a little extra healthier for your little one. It's something they can eat either at home or in the car if you are on the go.

This list is to give you ideas on some quick breakfast ideas that are sure to keep both you and your little ones happy and full. The oatmeal and fruits is the best for keeping them full for a long time and is my personal favorite for feeding to little ones.
